RECIPE: SPICY CASHEW NUTS MAYO

 Assalamulaikum Peeps!

Harinie I nak share satu  resepi sos pencicah untuk those who are on diet. I dapat idea nie because my father on Keto diet (makan protein and fat sahaja), me and my mom have to be creative in cooking dishes for him. So, I cari from internet and I modified sikit a few ingredients.


Usually, I buat sos pencicah pakai Greek yogurt (gambar di bawah) tiba2 haritu habis. Since my family try to limit our in and out from the house




Setengah orang akan rasa peliknya "Nuts Mayo". Dia sama je macam makan peanut butter tapi in savoury ways....kuah kacang pon kita blend kasar savoury jugak 😆

Anyways, here is the recipe


Bahan - Bahan / Ingredients
  • 1 cawan kacang gajus/ 1 cup of cashew nuts
  • 1 ulas bawang putih / 1 clove of galic
  • 1/2 cawan minyak zaitun / 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1 1/2 sudu besar sos ikan / 1 1/2 tablespoons of fish sauce
  • 1 sudu besar madu / 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 sudu besar serbuk cili kasar / 1 tablespoon of chili flakes
  •  sedikit daun ketumbar / a small amount of coriander
  • 1/2 cawan air / 1/2 cup of water
Cara - cara / Instructions

1. Masukkan semua bahan dalam pengisar dan kisar sehingga halus. Jika terlalu pekat tambah sedikit air dan boleh adjust measurement bahan2 diatas mengikut citarasa masing2. ( Put all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. If it's too thick add a little bit of water. You may adjust the measurement of the ingredients based on your taste)

Simple kan!?

I buat nie makan dengan wrap for breakfast x perlu dah tambah sos lain, dah cukup flavourful.




Katakanlah malas nak blend boleh jugak pakai ready made peanut jar. Gaul semua bahan dah siap. I recommend guna brand Amazin' Graze. Good thing about this brand is not added sugar, so sesuai yang nak diet or nak kurangkan pengambilan gula.
