K FRY VS KYOCHON VS 4 FINGERS

Assalamulaikum and Hello!

Harinie I nak bagi ratings for top 3 Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) yang I pernah rasa. Actually, banyak je KFC restaurants di Malaysia but I choose these 3 restaurants because it's most preferable KFC places Malaysian love to go.


Apa beza KFC nie dengan Ayam Goreng yang lain? 💭

KFC digoreng sebanyak 2 kali, first time goreng dengan medium heat and then second fry  high heat sampai batter tu color golden brown. Every restaurant has their own identity and uniqueness, semua bergantung pada tastebuds masing-masing... there is no right or wrong. 

So, I give ratings based on the crispiness of the batter, juiciness of the meat, flavour,( I split into 3 areas: variety, soy garlic, overall other flavour), price and ambiance. 


K FRY

  • Price: Reasonable
  • Ambiance: Spacious but I wish they use a brighter light
Overall: 4.7/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Comment: K Fry best because dia ada banyak varieties of chicken part, boleh kata every year dia akan  release new flavour....banyak lagi menu dia budae jjigae, rice balls, sandwich, and etc. (Link) Soy Garlic Flavour for me macam missing of something, tak cukup ummphh gitu😄. K Fry is a must to go place. Worth it to try.




KYOCHON 1991

First time rasa Kyochon 1991 dekat Sunway Pyramid with my brother. Agak awkward sikit laa awal tu because the concept of this restaurant more on Fine & Dine.

Comment: Batter ayam kyochon is light and crispy. Dari segi variety , dia ada 6 jenis flavours and my favourite is honey series, dia manis2 gitu. For soy garlic, for me too salty and I tak boleh nak makan sangat. Mesti korang nak tahu kenapa I cakap mahal, ayam for 6 wings yg dikerat 2 jadi drummets and wingettes for RM34 and garlic fried rice is RM12 for a person....total semua I makan dalam RM60. Nak kata kenyang pon tak jugak dia sekadar  makan untuk alas perut. But for those yang tak suka makan heavy2 boleh makan di Kyochon. 

4Fingers Crispy Chicken

4 Fingers actually served an Asian-style fried chicken. Nak kata dia KFC 100% pon tak jugak but the concept and style macam KFC restaurant chain. Menu dekat sini (Link)

Comment: Well, ayam 4 Fingers memang juicy and isi dia pon lembut tp dia cuma ada 2 flavour during normal days... Soy Garlic or Hot. Dalam gambar yang I share, masa tu ade limited edition Tom Yum Pop...serbuk putih actually popping candy (kalo dulu masa kecik2 matkool ice cream pon ada jual popping candy ice cream)...sedap flavour nie. Sekarang nie tak sure if diaorg ada bawak keluar new flavour. I paling suka soy garlic diaorg...it's sweet,salty, and addictive but batter dia tak se'crispy' macam K Fry and Kyochon. Harga dia berbaloi, tak mahal and setanding harga Kentucky Fried Chicken. I guess they target untuk bagi semua rasa and mampu beli their food.
